More than 50 people are sick after drinking contaminated water

An incident took place in Mudenur village in which more than 50 people fell ill after drinking contaminated water within 3 days.

The villagers have been drinking water from the village borewell for about a week. The health of everyone in the village has suddenly changed and vomiting has started.

The water pipe coming from the borewell has broken and sewage has joined it. This incident took place because many Bhari Panchayats drew the attention of the PDO but did not do any repairs. The villagers have alleged that the Panchayat is responsible for this.

Rayadurga MLA Mahadevappa Yadawad visited the village and instructed the authorities to provide appropriate treatment to the sick.
